i'm trying to experiment with my own style and realism at the same time.... seems impossible but i like doing a variety.
piece's like "moon gazer" and "spirited away" are one's which i liked the end result of most because it used both a bit of realism and a certain style to each... i think if i were to carry on with aiming for photo-realism i'd get bored after a while... still it's what i enjoy

Aiming for perfection is good, but don't beat yourself up if you never get there.

You shouldn't.

It's the imperfections that make something 'art' instead of just a really slow inaccurate xerox! ~,^

Hone your skills, but find your style, find your groove; that's what ART is all about! It's expression, not reproduction!

thanks so much that means alot to me, i'm trying hard to experiment with textures both on photoshop, pencil and other medias.
lol i guess i'm aiming for perfection in the end, i've still got so much to learn i'm spending the next three months on improving thank god for this holiday!
